Guest on Botanical Brouhaha Podcast - Episode 7

One of our favorite online sources for the floral industry is Botanical Brouhaha. Their podcasts, led by the inspirational Amy McGee, are insightful and always incredibly informative. This year she partnered with the talented Maria Maxit from Maxit Flower Design to bring us interviews of industry insiders.

We contributed a series of "Ingredient" posts to their Working Designer Wednesday column back in 2015. It was so fun working with them. So when Amy and Maria approached me to be apart of this new venture I was honored to be a guest on Episode 7 of their podcast.  I was able to share my insights, including the challenges of navigating the NYC floral scene, how our contracting process works to my "winter life" as a ceramicist. I also try to explain how to find/maintain a work life balance between running a own business while being an artist at heart. A constant work in progress!  Thank you Amy and Maria!!
